J.W. Speaker Corporation developed their newest generation 4″ x 6″ LED heated headlight for the heavy-duty trucking market. This new headlight, referred to as the Model 8800 Evolution 2, is the industry’s first to meet proposed National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) guidelines for a 5-Star NCAP-compliant low beam headlight.*

The new Model 8800 Evolution 2 heated headlamp is available in either a chrome face or black face finish.

The heated version combines electronic intelligence and a thermally conductive grid system to dynamically de-ice the lens on a real time basis without requiring any involvement from the driver. As a result, the Model 8800 Evolution 2 addresses the need for effective and speedy de-icing for commercial trucking.

The Model 8800 Evolution 2 offers improved sealing, superior condensation management and a wider operating voltage. The combination of superior visibility with intelligent heating, delivers a superior lighting solution that will benefit drivers and fleets alike.
